Inspection Trip - Spring 2008

Please join Above the Arctic in Lapland for the May Bank Holiday inspection trip!

This 5 nights inspection trip gives an opportunity to visit completed properties and new developments in Yllas and Levi while enjoying the last weekend of skiing and local celebration of the Vappu holiday ( 1st of May and the following weekend ) !

This inspection trip will give you a chance to have a sneak preview of the unique Teepee development in Lainio Snow Village!

Flights are available from London and Manchester. If you are interested in this inspection trip (Thursday May 1 - Monday May 5, 2008) or want to create your own at any time, please email sales@abovethearctic.com confirming:

• Accomodation (cabin or apartment) ?

Since the ski season is coming to an end (slopes are open till May 4, 2008) the resort becomes very peaceful and we have no problem finding accomodation to suit your requirements.

Flights to Kittila are organized through Finnair (approx £400/person round trip). We would arrange all the transfers from the airport to your cabin or apartment free of charge.

Budget travellers can fly with low cost airlines like Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) or Blue1 (www.blue1.fi) and then continue with the overnight train to Kolari. Ryanair flies direct from London Stansted to Tampere, whereas Blue1flies from Manchester to Helsinki via Stockholm or Copenhagen or direct from London Stansted to Helsinki. Overnight train leaves Helsinki at 21:30 and/or Tampere at 23:59 arriving to Kolari at 10:45 (visit www.vr.fi for more information about the trains). Above the Arctic will arrange all the transfers from Kolari.
